The longest phone call on record lasted for 150 hours and 2 minutes. It was made by two people, Tony Wright and Toon Willems, in Australia in 2012. The call started on November 18 and ended on November 23. To complete the record-breaking feat, both participants were allowed to have a five-minute break every hour. The conversation was carried out over Skype and there were no restrictions on the topic of conversation. The previous record had been set in 2007, also in Australia, by two men who spoke for 40 hours and 1 minute.
